Silver, driven, cast and engraved; gilded. Strangled foot with six leafy floral humps; the slim shaft with three volutes and ornamental leaves. The constricted Kuppa and the slip lid accordingly. The coronation in the form of a standing Roman soldier, holding two shields with engraved crests: one the coat of arms of the market town of Pyrbaum in the Upper Palatinate, the other that of the imperial freemen of Wolfstein. Brands: BZ Nuremberg 1661-64, MZ Reinhold Rühl (1652-86, GNM No. 769), Tremolierstich.

Note: Plaque inset in the lid with an inscription in black plaque: "In the election of Raths in 1670, Mr. Richter, Kammerer and creators of an Erbarn Marck court made this cup for Pyrbaum and had it stored in their honorary memory of the court." Below are the names of judges, chamberlains and nine aldermen, numbered 1 - 9. Vacancies 10, 11 and 12 vacant or removed.  

The "Wolfsteiner" were one of the most important gentlemen of the Upper Palatinate, whose possessions belonged until its extinction in 1740, the imperial immediate dominions Sulzbürg and Pyrbaum.
