A group of four blanc de chine figures. Qing dynasty, 17th to 19th century

comprising a figure of Wen Chang, wearing loose-fitting robes with rank badge and high hat, seated on a horseshoe-shaped chair, a figure of Guandi, seated on a low chair with stern expression, another figure of Guandi, standing holding his belt, and a figure of Guanyin, seated and holding a ruyi sceptre. the largest 38cm., 15in.  Est. 3,000—4,000 GBP

PROVENANCE: The figure of Wen Chang, Roger Keverne, Summer Exhibition, 2004 no 44; the seated figure of Guandi, Solveig and Anita Gray, November 1999; the standing figure of Guandi, Phillip's London, 13th November 2000, lot 132.
