A CENTRAL ASIAN WHITE MARBLE MOUFLON - CIRCA MID 3RD-EARLY 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
The stylized wild sheep depicted standing, its massive rounded body with subtle contours defining the short tapering legs, the rectangular tail in relief, its large underslung horns projecting from the top of the triangular head, the pointed ears erect below, the large eyes with the pupils deeply recessed, the nostrils also recessed, the beard projecting below. 4¾ in. (12.1 cm.) long - Price Realized: $158,500
