A large, pear-shaped cabochon notable for its unusual color for this locality—typically known for its specimens of brownish-red color. The stone has a bright strawberry-red color, moderate transparency and very good polish. On the reverse side of the cabochon, two “naturals” have been left by the lapidary, revealing the natural surface texture of the mineral.
Weighing approximately 52.13 carats and measuring 40.5 x 19.0 x 6.0mm
